Workers Compensation

New York workers' compensation for homecare services benefits employees who get injured or become ill while performing their job duties at home.

This includes home health aides, personal care aides, and other caregivers who work in private homes. Workers' compensation benefits may cover medical expenses, lost wages, and other related costs.

To be eligible for benefits, employees must have suffered their injury or illness while on the job, and the injury or illness must be related to their work. Employers are required by law to carry workers' compensation insurance, which provides coverage for eligible employees.
